Open sun up to sundown, every day. Here's all you need to know.....
Welcome to Woods' Lake
We're A FAMILY LAKE, our family lives here! The fact is, kids are the reason we keep the lake open for because they deserve a place where they can go fishing. Trust me, that isn't easy to do. Right now much of our equipment is in need of repair and even if it was fixed, we don't have the time to run it. I Wish we could provide supervision for the young ones, but we can't do that. That is the responisibility of their gardian. We do what we can so, we do not permit the consumption of intoxicants by our guests while on the property and we don't permit any sort of illegal activity and ask that if you see something questionable, please tell us so we can do something. Having said that, we have better things to do with our time than to run around the lake checking coolers or satchels so we need your help to know if there's a problem in order to fix it. It is fair to point out that if you put any Beveridge in a sleeve drink it quietly, and take the empties with you when you leave, and you can behave civilly while you're here, what we don't know, won't hurt us. On the other hand, if someone's behavior becomes disruptive, or are obviously impaired or compound the action by becoming obnoxious, they will be invited to leave and not allowed to return. This isn't personal, it's a question of exceeding to our responsibilities to our family and to our neighbors by trying to, protect others who have chosen to visit our lake. |
We would appreciate it very much if you would clean up when you finish fishing!
Trust me, we have enough to do and do not have the time or energy to pick up after someone who doesn't know what a trash can is. Please keep in mind, We don't charge you to fish here! We've seen too many fishermen here, fishing for food in order to feed their family. That's why we don't charge. On the other hand, if you have the time, we can always use help weed eating or grass cutting and we do accept monitary donations that we use to pay for the fuel we use trying to keep the lake safe. The lake has Bass, Brim, Crappy, Catfish and Carp in it. Throw the under 15" Bass and the Carp back (you wouldn't want to eat a carp anyway). DO NOT RELEASE Brim or Crappy back into the lake, they will over populate the lake. If you don't want em, give hem to us and we'll dispose of them for you. |
